Fairmont, MN November 2019 — Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM) today announced the appointment of Linsey Preuss, Fairmont, MN Economic Development Coordinator to its Board of Directors.  

Her economic development experience will be a valuable resource for the 13-member board. Additionally, Ms. Preuss will be an important voice to an organization that shapes the economic development policies for the State of Minnesota. 

 “I am honored and humbled to have been elected to this board by my peers statewide,” said Preuss.  “I look forward to serving, and moving the organization’s mission forward.” 

With 10 years of economic development experience in Minnesota, Ms. Preuss will be a valuable voice that helps to fulfill the EDAM’s mission of championing economic development in Minnesota through professional development, networking and advocacy.

The term for EDAM’s new board members begins January 2020 and she will be joined by Kati Bachmeyer, City of Lakeville, Ling Becker, Ramsey County, Lucas Evenson Braun Intertec, and Rick Howden, Ramsey County.

The Economic Development Association of Minnesota (EDAM) is a state-wide association of professionals who specialize in economic development. Our membership consists of public, private and nonprofit professionals who are interested in staying informed and connected to current economic development strategies and best practices. EDAM was originally established in 1967 as the Minnesota Industrial Development Association and has evolved over the last 50 years to an organization dedicated to collaboration and innovation in the economic development industry.
